Polaroids & Transfers

These Polaroid transfers move the image off its original support and onto watercolor paper — the emulsion floated free in water and caught as it settles, or the print glued face down and its backing rubbed away until only the image remains. Some are left as they come; others are drawn into extensively. Two works are built from sixteen glue transfers each, a single Polaroid image broken across the grid and reassembled. The straight Polaroids that follow are the same instant film left intact.

All works are one of a kind polaroid prints and polaroid transfers onto watercolor paper.
